Getting started

nomo isn't showing my workouts or steps.

nomo reads activity from Apple Health. Open iPhone Settings › Health › Data Access & Devices › nomo and make sure the data types are turned on, then reopen nomo. Workouts recorded by other apps appear only if those apps save them to Apple Health.

Do I need an Apple Watch?

No. Your iPhone counts steps and Apple Health records workouts. An Apple Watch adds heart rate, sleep and recovery data, which make activity and Body Status more precise.

What should I choose — Training or Rest?

Choose what you plan for the day. It only sets the morning's starting targets; real activity from Apple Health adjusts them as the day goes on.

Logging food

How does “Tell nomo” work?

Type what you ate, say it, or take a photo of the meal or its nutrition label. nomo suggests foods and amounts from its database; check them, adjust anything that's off, then log.

Dictation isn't working.

Allow Microphone and Speech Recognition for nomo in iPhone Settings › nomo. Dictation also needs Siri & Dictation languages available on your device.

Why are raw and cooked foods different?

Cooking changes weight — rice takes on more than its own weight in water — so 100 g of cooked rice has far fewer calories than 100 g of dry rice. Pick the state you actually weighed.

Your account

How do I delete my account?

[TBD: in-app path, e.g. Profile › Account › Delete Account.] You can also email us from the address you signed in with and we'll delete your account and data.
