Privacy Policy

What nomo collects, why, and the choices you have. Written to be read, not skimmed past.

Effective date: [TBD] · Last updated: 19 October 2026

Draft for review. Items marked [TBD] need to be confirmed before this policy is published or linked from the App Store.

1. Who we are

nomo is an iPhone app for nutrition and activity, provided by AtrixTech Limited, a company incorporated in Hong Kong (“AtrixTech”, “we”, “us”). We handle personal data in line with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) of Hong Kong and other laws that apply to you. [TBD: confirm the legal entity name exactly as registered, and whether a separate mainland China operator applies.]

2. What we collect

We do not collect your precise location, contacts or advertising identifier, and nomo does not track you across other companies' apps or websites. [TBD: confirm no analytics or crash-reporting SDKs are added before release; if any are, list them here.]

3. Apple Health data

With your permission, nomo reads the following from Apple Health. You choose which types to allow, and you can change this at any time in the Health app or in iPhone Settings › Health › Data Access & Devices.

nomo sends this data to our servers so your targets, Body Status and insights can be calculated and kept in step across your devices. The App Store version of nomo does not write any data to Apple Health.

Health data is never used for advertising or marketing, never sold, and never shared with data brokers or advertising platforms. We use it only to provide nomo's health and fitness features to you.

4. Food photos, text and voice

When you use “Tell nomo”, the text you type or the photo you choose is sent to our servers and analysed by an AI model to suggest foods and amounts. [TBD: name the AI provider(s) and region, and confirm they do not use this content to train their models.] The suggestions are matched to our nutrition database and shown to you for review; nothing is logged until you confirm it.

Photos are used only for that analysis. [TBD: state whether photos are stored after analysis, and for how long.]

If you dictate instead of typing, speech is converted to text by Apple's speech recognition on your iPhone. Depending on your device and language, Apple may process the audio on its servers under Apple's own privacy policy. nomo does not receive or store your voice recordings — only the resulting text, if you send it.

5. How we use data

We don't sell personal data, and we don't use your data for targeted advertising.

6. Who we share it with

We share personal data only with service providers that help us run nomo, under contracts that require them to protect it and use it only on our instructions:

We may also disclose data where required by law, to protect the rights and safety of users or others, or as part of a business transfer, in which case this policy will continue to apply to your data.

7. Where data is stored

Your data is stored on servers in [TBD: e.g. Singapore]. If you use nomo from another country, your data will be transferred there. We take steps to make sure it is protected to the standard described in this policy. [TBD: mainland China users — describe the local access layer and cross-border arrangements if applicable.]

8. How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as you have an account. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within [TBD: 30] days, except where we must keep it longer by law. Server logs are kept for up to [TBD] days.

9. Your choices and rights

To make a request, email team@atrixtech.io. We'll respond within the time required by law, and may need to confirm your identity first.

10. Security

Data is encrypted in transit between the app and our servers, access is limited to people who need it to run the service, and we review our safeguards regularly. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you and the authorities of a breach where the law requires.

11. Children

nomo is designed for adults and is not intended for anyone under [TBD: 16]. We don't knowingly collect data from children; if you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we'll delete it.

12. Changes and contact

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top and, for significant changes, let you know in the app before they take effect.
